Window Switching

Sliprail seamlessly integrates window switching into the core launcher, offering a more efficient and intuitive way to navigate windows compared to native methods like Alt+Tab. When you're juggling numerous windows, Sliprail helps you pinpoint the exact one you need with instant search and smart sorting.

Core Features

Instant Search

After opening the launcher, simply start typing keywords from the window title or application name. The list filters in real-time to show matching windows, allowing you to find your target instantly.

Fully Keyboard-Driven

The entire workflow, from summoning the launcher to selecting and switching windows, is fully keyboard-operated. Use the arrow keys or Tab / Shift+Tab to select and press Enter to switch, all without your hands leaving the keyboard.

Smart Sorting

To boost your productivity, Sliprail automatically places your most recently used windows at the top of the list. This smart sorting ensures that the windows you access most frequently are always within easy reach.

Advanced Settings Options

Clicking the "Advanced" button in the settings panel opens a dialog with the following option:

  • Show opened application windows: Enabled by default. When enabled, currently opened application windows will be displayed in the launcher. You can disable this option if your workflow doesn't require seeing open windows in the launcher.
