AI Screenshot

The AI Screenshot extension captures all your screens and lets you interact with the images using AI. Crop any region, extract text instantly with OCR, or ask Nora AI questions about what's on your screen — all in one seamless workflow.

What you can do

Capture all connected displays at once

How to use

Open the Sliprail launcher and type AIScreenshot
Your screens will be captured instantly
Click on a screenshot to enter edit mode, where you can crop or adjust the image
Use the built-in tools:
- Extract Text: Click to run OCR and copy all text from the image
- Nora: Ask questions or discuss the screenshot content with AI

Settings

You can configure the extension in Settings > Extensions > AI Screenshot:

Auto-save screenshots to Downloads folder: When enabled, all screenshots are automatically saved to your Downloads folder when captured (enabled by default)

Use cases

Quickly extract text from images, screenshots, or scanned documents
Ask AI to explain diagrams, code snippets, or error messages
Crop and save specific regions of your screen

Tips

If you capture multiple screens, click on any thumbnail to edit that specific screenshot
You can use Nora to summarize, translate, or analyze any content in your screenshot
